To help international exhibitors—especially those from China—participate smoothly and in compliance with local regulations, the following guide summarizes key rules and special requirements extracted from the official Exhibitor Manual.
1. Exhibitor Eligibility and Liability
- Exhibitors must be manufacturers, brand owners, or authorized distributors relevant to the show's theme.
- Booth rental rights are non-transferable—subletting or sharing space with other companies is prohibited.
- Exhibitors bear full legal and safety responsibility for their appointed contractors (builders, designers, transporters).
- The organizer assumes no liability for property loss, theft, accident, or fire.
All exhibitors must obtain the following insurance coverage:

- Drilling, painting, or welding directly on venue floors is forbidden.

Mezzanine Requirements:
Booths with mezzanines (upper levels) are allowed only if total area exceeds 500 sqm, with the upper floor limited to 25% of the main floor area.
Accessibility Requirements:
- Elevated booths must include a ramp (max slope 10%).
- Aisles and entrances must comply with the Brazilian Inclusion Law (Lei de Inclusão da Pessoa com Deficiência).
3. Electrical and Equipment Use
- All power connections must be requested through the organizer; no self-wiring is allowed.
- Each booth must have a main circuit breaker easily accessible for inspection.
- All metal structures must be properly grounded.
- If actual power consumption exceeds the declared load, a 25% penalty fee applies.
- Power tools may only use PP insulated extension cords.
- An Electrical Engineering Statement and Responsibility Term must be submitted before installation.
4. Safety and Fire Protection Requirements
- Each booth must have at least one ABC dry chemical fire extinguisher, with quantity based on total area.
- Open flames, gas welding, fuel, or flammable gases are strictly prohibited.
- Equipment generating sparks, smoke, or explosive gases is not allowed.
- Booths built above fire hydrants must include removable flooring for inspection access.
Mandatory PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during setup and teardown:
- Safety helmet
- Insulated gloves
- Anti-slip shoes
- Safety harness for work at height
Barefoot or shirtless work and the use of sandals are strictly prohibited.
5. Exhibit and Promotion Management
- Only new and authentic products may be exhibited; second-hand or counterfeit goods are forbidden.
- Exhibitors may showcase only their own or authorized brands.
- All exhibits must be accompanied by a Brazilian tax invoice (Nota Fiscal) marked "For Exhibition Use Only."
- Distribution of materials for third-party brands without authorization is prohibited.
- Leaflet distribution in aisles or public areas is not permitted.
6. Sound and Visual Display Regulations
- Maximum sound level: 75 decibels (dB).
- Outward-facing loudspeakers or sound systems are not allowed.
- Music, videos, or advertising must comply with ECAD (Brazilian Copyright Office) licensing requirements.
- LED screens, lightboxes, and projectors must be pre-approved and must not disturb adjacent exhibitors.
7. Labor and Employment Regulations
Exhibitors must comply with the Brazilian Labor Law (CLT), ensuring all staff are legally registered and covered by social security.
Required Documentation:
All construction and service teams must provide:
- Company license and labor permit
- Proof of social security and accident insurance
- Employee ID copies
- Individuals under 14 years old are not permitted in the venue.
- Child labor is prohibited; minors require parental authorization and organizer approval to participate.

8. Advertising and Media Regulations
- Advertising or hanging banners outside the booth requires written approval from the organizer.
- The use of balloons, inflatable figures, or mobile props in aisles is prohibited.
- Media interviews and filming must be pre-approved.
- Unauthorized filming, live streaming, or photography of other booths constitutes a violation.
- All digital activations must be uploaded via the official exhibitor portal for approval.
9. Venue Access and Vehicle Regulations
- Vehicles are not allowed inside the exhibition halls.
- Loading and unloading must take place at designated gates (e.g., Gate 4 at São Paulo Expo).
- All trucks and service vehicles must follow the assigned schedule and hold valid passes.
- Exhibitors must purchase insurance covering transportation and handling equipment.
10. Violations and Penalties
- Exhibitors who violate any rule in the manual may be fined 25% of booth rental value and, in severe cases, lose exhibition rights.
- Booths deemed unsafe may be immediately sealed or dismantled (Embargo da Construção).
- The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation and enforcement to protect the event's integrity and safety.
