China International Laboratory Medicine & Blood Transfusion Equipment and Reagent Exhibition (CACLP) is China and Asia's flagship professional exhibition for in vitro diagnostics and laboratory medicine. Organized by the Medical Laboratory Industry Branch of the National Health Industry Enterprise Management Association at Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center, it attracts global IVD equipment, reagent, laboratory automation, and life science companies.

This guide is compiled based on the official Exhibitor Manual, retaining only the core rules and local regulations exhibitors must understand when participating in Nanchang.

1. Booth Design and Approval System

Booths are divided into Standard Booths and Raw Space Booths:

  • Standard booths are uniformly constructed by the organizer; structural modifications are prohibited;
  • Raw Space booths are designed and constructed by exhibitors themselves, requiring drawing submission and approval.

Booth Design Drawings Must Include:

  • Floor plan and elevation drawings;
  • Material specifications;
  • Electrical layout and safety responsibility statement;
  • Fire-resistant material declaration.

All designs must comply with Building Fire Protection Design Code GB50016 and Nanchang Exhibition Safety Technical Requirements.

Important Notice: Any unapproved construction or modifications may be suspended or removed by the organizer.

2. Booth Structure and Height Restrictions

  • Double-deck booths must have safety guardrails (≥1.1 meters) and emergency evacuation routes;
  • Enclosed booth facades must not exceed 50% of booth perimeter;
  • No structure may obstruct fire sprinklers, electrical boxes, fire hydrants, or emergency exits;
  • Glass components must use tempered glass with anti-collision markings.

3. Electrical and Power Safety Standards

  • All electrical work must be performed by electricians authorized by the organizer;
  • Unauthorized wiring or use of uncertified sockets and extension cords is strictly prohibited;
  • Cables must be protected in conduits and secured to floors or walls;
  • Power sources must be equipped with leakage protection devices and main switches;
  • Lighting fixtures must maintain at least 30 cm distance from flammable materials;
  • Use of heaters, electric kettles, rice cookers, and other household appliances is strictly prohibited.

4. Construction and Personnel Safety Management

  • All construction personnel must complete real-name registration and purchase accident insurance;
  • Hard hats, non-slip shoes, and reflective vests must be worn on-site;
  • Work at height requires scaffolding with guardrails and safety harnesses;
  • Working under the influence of alcohol, fatigue, or shirtless is strictly prohibited;
  • Smoking, welding, grinding, or spray painting inside the venue is prohibited;
  • Wooden materials must be treated with fire-retardant coating before entry;
  • On-site safety inspection must be passed after construction completion.

5. Fire Safety and Emergency Management System

  • All booth decoration materials must be flame-retardant (fire rating B1 or above);
  • Each booth must be equipped with fire extinguishers (one per 30㎡);
  • Fire sprinklers, fire hydrants, or emergency lighting equipment must not be obstructed;
  • Storage or display of flammable gases, liquids, or chemicals is strictly prohibited;
  • Any display requiring open flame or welding operations must be approved in advance;
  • Venue has security and fire safety patrol systems; violations will be immediately stopped.

6. Environmental Protection and Green Construction Requirements

Green Exhibition Policy

  • Use of disposable materials (foam board, PVC, etc.) is prohibited;
  • Recyclable, modular exhibition equipment is encouraged;
  • Lighting equipment should use LED energy-saving fixtures;
  • Booths must be cleaned thoroughly after dismantling.

Exhibitors must sort waste for disposal; littering, dumping, or burning is strictly prohibited. Deposits will be forfeited for non-compliance with cleaning requirements.

7. Rigging and Large Exhibit Management

  • Rigging construction requires venue approval and must be operated by designated service providers;
  • Single rigging point must not exceed 250 kg load;
  • Rigged items must be ≥3 meters above ground and not cross aisles;
  • Large equipment transport and placement requires detailed plan submission and approval.

8. Insurance and Liability Terms

  • All exhibitors and contractors must purchase third-party liability insurance;
  • Insurance coverage should include setup, exhibition period, and dismantling;
  • Exhibitors bear full legal responsibility for accidents caused by booth design, construction, or equipment;
  • Organizers and venue management assume no financial liability.

9. Exhibition Period Conduct and Management Standards

  • Booths must remain staffed; early dismantling is not permitted;
  • Audio volume must not exceed 70 decibels;
  • Use of strong lights, lasers, or strobe lights that disturb neighboring booths is prohibited;
  • Distribution of promotional materials is limited to within booth areas;
  • Placing exhibits, advertisements, or banners in aisles is prohibited;
  • Pets, children, and hazardous materials are prohibited in the venue.

10. Special Management Regulations of Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center

Nanchang-Specific Management Systems

  • Real-Name System and Vehicle Flow Management: All personnel and vehicles must register with real names; freight and construction vehicles follow scheduled time slots for entry/exit.
  • On-Site Monitoring and Safety Coordination Mechanism: Venue equipped with video surveillance and 24-hour security patrols; construction violations will be immediately stopped.
  • Construction Deposit and Venue Inspection System: Raw space booths require deposit payment; refunded after construction completion and cleaning inspection.
  • Environmental Protection and Energy Conservation Supervision: As a "Green Exhibition Model City," Nanchang requires exhibition construction to meet low-carbon energy-saving policy requirements.
